Coach Gordon graduated from Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, MD and was Maryland athlete of the year in 1987 while being featured in a Sports Illustrated “Faces In the Crowd” segment.   He played collegiately at Wright State and Arizona State University.  Keith was drafted out of high school in the 5th round by the San Francisco Giants in 1987 but decided to forego professional baseball for college.  He was then the 28th player chosen in the 1990 MLB draft by the Cincinnati Reds.  Keith played professionally for 3 seasons, including time with the Cincinnati Reds, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Seattle Mariners.  Coach Gordon currently offers hitting lessons and heads the baseball program at the Bullis School in Potomac, MD.
